can we please have a feature to merge all the files back? i.e. join? i know the utility is called text file splitter for a reason but i have a situation where i split large files up so that i can edit them (within a reasonable time frame!) on a system with low memory and then wish to join them back again.

i know i can use COPY to merge files together but there's a limitation on the command line length and it is difficult to automate the COPY command.

thanks.

btw, i notice when i use the command line interface to text file splitter, it returns immediately and the utility runs in asynch mode. is there a way to force it to run synchronously so that i can put it into a series of commands in a BAT file?

Honestly, I don't have the time to do this right now. All I can suggest is to put something in the Feedback Center, and I'll get to it when I can. That's the problem with free stuff, not enough incentive to really push it.

This will have to be a new feature that will need to be added. This will probably be another command-line switch. This is another thing that needs to go in the Feedback Center. This will probably be easier to implement than the join text file utility. I don't have an ETA for this, as I'm working on PainlessSVN full tilt right now.

Thanks for the suggestions!
